BEARS X FUDGE KITCHEN
Turning Ice Cream Into Fudge For Something A Little unexpected This May Bank Holiday
Some collaborations just make sense.
Bringing together Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium and Fudge Kitchen was always going to lead somewhere interesting. Both brands are rooted in Kent, both known for bold flavour, and both care about how things are made just as much as how they taste.
This May Bank Holiday, that shared approach has turned into something new. A limited-edition fudge trio box that takes some of Bears’ most recognisable flavours and reimagines them in a completely different format.

From Scoop to Slab
At Bears, every flavour starts in the kitchen. Built like a dish, developed with balance, texture and a bit of curiosity.
This collaboration takes that same thinking and hands it over to the team at Fudge Kitchen, who have spent decades perfecting their craft. Known for making fudge in small batches using traditional techniques, often right in front of customers, there’s a sense of theatre and care in everything they do.
The result is a trio of handcrafted fudge slabs that stay true to the original flavours, while becoming something entirely their own.
The Trio
The limited-edition box features three Bears flavours, each translated into fudge:
-
Blueberry, Lavender Jam and Meringue – a Taste of Kent Gold Award winner
-
Cinnamon Sponge, Apple Jazz and Cream Cheese – a Taste of Kent Bronze Award winner
-
Raspberry Ripple with Pistachio Brittle – a long-time favourite
Each one has been carefully reworked to reflect the character of the original ice cream, while still delivering that rich, smooth finish that Fudge Kitchen is known for.

A Different Way to Experience Bears
“We’re always looking at ways to take our flavours somewhere new, and this felt like a really fun way to do it,” says Philip Harrison, co-founder of Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium. “Seeing them turned into fudge has been amazing. It’s familiar but also completely different, which is exactly what we love.”
For Fudge Kitchen, it’s been about translating that creativity into their own craft.
“Working with Bears has been a brilliant fit for us,” says Richard Parsons. “Their flavours are bold and creative, which made them really exciting to translate into fudge. It’s been about keeping those flavours while delivering the stand-out fudge we’re known for.”
Part Of The 10-Year Celebrations
This collaboration is one of a series of moments marking 10 years of Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium.
Over the past few months, that’s included everything from in-store offers to local collaborations and the launch of Scooptopia at Macknade Food Village. Each one built around the same idea. Bringing people together through flavour, creativity and a bit of fun.
