Basil, White Chocolate Chip, Passionfruit Swirl Ice Cream
Mr. Bear's Notes: I have been making basil ice cream since we ran a pop-up hotel in the North West of Iceland in 2006. I love it, the recipe has improved over the years and it's been served with roasted peaches, white chocolate tarts, even with a savoury tomato tart. I love Basil, love it, love it. This is by far my favourite incarnation. Crunchy white chocolate chips, tangy Passionfruit swirl, it's just awesome.
